We’ve relocated all of our stuff to the new place. However, it may take weeks and weeks to get this all sorted out. I’ve got to water, mow and maintain the lawn so that’s only going to slow things down. The upside of all of this is that I don’t have to pay $6.00 to wash my car, plus I can vaccuum it, spot-check the windows and park it in a garage. Now we just have to do some small fixes, major remodelling (as soon as Jessica saw a friend’s house she wanted a second story for some reason) and also some basic things like cover the egresses so that Abby and other children do not fall in them!
All is well though and I’m very excited to be in the new place. Oh, and we’ve not changed our phone number so those of you who call will be able to keep dialing the number you’ve got in speed dial (no one memorizes numbers any more, do they? I don’t… if my cell phone ever loses all the numbers I’ve got in it, I’m hosed). I’ll get the address updated on the contact us page, but for now you can use the following:
Randy, Jessica, Abby and ? Peterman
2881 S Mobile st
Aurora, CO 80013
720-529-8647
Oh, and we don’t have inkernet yet so I’m at my real estate agent’s house using his broadband until ours is working at home. Apparently Qwest is out to rule the world through the ‘almost deliver’ approach to telcom services.
I can just imagine all the boxes.
I have my address book on my iBook synchronised with my mobile. It also get synced to my .mac account. If I loose my mobile I just get a new one with bluetooth, pair with the iBook, sync and I’m back up and running. Phone numbers, calendar and all.
Broadband, unfortunately takes ages when you’re moving house. Some people change their numbers when moving so they can connect the new line (to broadband) before they arrive. I guess it depends if you prefer having your phone or your internet.
