Father’s Day and the Day Before

Well, as a father I happen to like having a daughter, and Abby was especially cute saying, “Happy Fathers Day.” I think it was Shari who also taught her how to say, “Sup Dawg.” So Abby is learning a lot of things here and she is having a great time with cousin Brennan.

I got to see a long list of people at the Katzorke-Peterman wedding – I was an usher along with my brother and so I got to seet folks – which gave me a whole 45 seconds to chit chat and tell them that I like Colorado. Colorado was the major question I got asked about.

“How do you like Colorado?”

“I hate it.”

“Really? Why?”

“Because it seems like a nice place and if it is a nice place then it means that any day now I’ll be unplugged from the Matrix by swallowing the red pill [Nyquil].”

“Follow the white Rabbit.”

Speaking of rabbits I haven’t seen any here for some time so I hope that we’ll be able to take a walk when I get back and go for a long bunny counting walk and see 29 bunnies – a new record for a bunny walk (28 is the current record).

Sponge Bob Square Pants has been the DVD of choice for the kids and “Madame Blueberry” [Veggie Tales] the VHS video of choice. I have seen all 10 episodes of Sponge Bob at least 2 times if not 3-5 for some of them.

That is all for now – class is dismissed.
