I’m not surprised, but I am disgusted: Apropos of Something When reality television goes bad – er, worse

WordPress Information
I’ve been getting a lot of linke from www.google.com with people looking for WordPress information. I’d be interested, if you arrive here some how, in answering any questions you’ve got. I’ve been totally impressed with how clean, efficient and customizable the software is. Please feel free to leave a comment (which I’m moderating, sorry). If you leave your email address I’ll get back to you within 24-48 hours with an answer or a URL that may contain the answer. I’m not the author of the software, but I’m a real fan of his.
Phabulous Photos
onfocus.com has quite a few beautiful photos or nature and what not.
note: I haven’t viewed every photo there, but I haven’t seen anything questionable, but be warned I’ve not seen everything there, I have no control over the content on that site or its maker, or his/her/their dog if they have one.
John and Becca
John and Becca have a blog now. They are my brother and sister-in-laws. They live in WAshington STate. They are college students and they study the snot out of Chinese. Which is good because if they didn’t study Chinese then they would probably be studying something else and then I’d say, “They study the snot out of something else.” Which doesn’t sound good.
Do Not Call Me Either
As Reported in the news the first action filed against telemarketers due to the National Do Not Call List (DNCL) was for a telemarketer who called an FTC commissioner. That’s right, he called a leader in the organization that could smash them into puny little pieces. Amazing what we’ll stoop to to make money.
RSS
I really recommend that if you have a blog (that is 1% of my readers) and you’ve got an RSS feed that you consider copying and using the image at this site BenSinclair.com to let people know that such a feed is available. It’ll help people learn that you’ve got such a feed.
ChristianExodus.org
ChristianExodus.org is a site I’m behind. No, wait, I’m laughing behind their backs (until they read this, and then I’m going to boldly laugh in front of them). Why? Oh, why do we need this sort of thing? Those who disagree with the conservative viewpoints this group holds are most likely going to be thrilled to see them leave. This is certainly not Biblical from my understanding of the scriptures. If we’re called to go out into the world to reach people for Jesus Christ how do we do that from our own state? This is unfortunate.
Blog of a Former Student of Mine
A former student of mine has written about
her concerns about getting married, dating and God’s will. What is so cool is that her perspective is right on with this. Often when we get distracted by things that look like they’re big (and lets face it, getting married is huge) we forget the most important thing: our relationship with Christ. If God’s character is as the Bible describes Him then we’ve got nothing to worry about (and I contend that it is, and most likely much more wonderful than our finite languages can handle).
Right on.
Travelocity Moves Towards Standards Compliance
Travelocity: Airline Tickets, Hotels, Cars, Vacations, and Cruises. They could almost add, “Standard compliant” to that list as they’ve redesigned with CSS and a tableless structure. One more site down, 99.4% of the web to go.
NOTE: They have quite a few bugs in their code for standards compliance, but its a step in the right direction.
Reformed E-Mail Spammer May Relapse
Yahoo News reports “Reformed E-Mail Spammer Testifies He May Relapse.” I love how the spammers feel like they’re running a legitimate business that is good for society. I also love how people think that legislation is going to help. I get almost no spam because of software built into my mail server. It’s a beautiful thing.
