Hiybbprqag

I am flabbergasted that Google has its knickers in a twist over the Bing ‘copying’ strategy.  The truth is that Google spiders MSDN, Microsoft’s internal nerdvana site, and provides excellent results.  To the point that I go to Google to search Microsoft.  Just because Microsoft goes to Google to search Microsoft doesn’t mean they’re copying results, they’re just doing the equivalent to doping before a major competition.

Some folks have suggested that Google is upset because Microsoft copied their results because the algorithm Google has is better.  This could not be further from the truth.  Google’s algorithm is simply a bunch of code running on super-cheap hardware.  Microsoft’s code is simply a bunch of code running on Windows hardware and software churning out the best results Microsoft knows how to dish out: results from Google.  That’s just smart business.  Bing!

Oh, and Hybbprqag is one of the words Google says Microsoft copied results for.

Oh, and Oh, I should point out that I use Bing because I prefer their user agreement and privacy policy ever so slightly more than Google’s.

  1. Do u code ? If not, stop saying some algorithm is just a bunch of code running on cheap hardware … that’s really insulting … X-(

Cheap hardware ? Heh, u’re so stupid, just die

    • I do code. And while it may not have been obvious to you this post was known in the literary world as sarcasm. Google has been very public about how they run very cheap servers because they’re constantly replacing hardware and the cost of traditional server hardware would be too great due to the failure rate they have with their hardware.

  2. HAHA,

I find it mildly comical that some nobody’s blog post, scaling down the terrible image this puts on bing, is the first thing that comes up, when searching for “hybbprqag”, on bing…. over all real and relevant sites reporting the situation.

It is quiet interesting on the blatant thievery of google code, performed by bing…and their grand reply of “we do not take google’s code”.

“hybbprqug” is the first and last thing I ever search on bing…..I find that mildly comical as well.

Microsoft loves to get their hands into everything. Thats why, everything they get their hands into, is sub-par.

    Take Care.

  3. haha. Google copies Microsoft’s search results because Google spiders the Microsoft Website? WTF? Do you even know what you are talking about?

Bing obviously was not getting the quality of search results that Google was finding, and just had to copy to keep up.
