From adaptive path ? our team comes this quote:

After working with us, you will have the knowledge and tools you need to rely on your internal team. This is our goal.

A consulting firm that wants to do their work and leave. That is the typical attitude of a consultant. Get in, do the job and get out. Short term thinking. It is neet to see a consulting firm with a long term mindset in action. These guys were involved with the blogger.com redesign.

TopStyle Tips: New Blog for TopStyle Power Users

As this link says: Nick Bradbury: TopStyle Tips: New Blog for TopStyle Power Users I’m now officially a TopStyle junky. I’ve only written one tip so far, but I’ll be looking for some more things I do in TopStyle that are good for the masses. Frankly, I use the same stuff all the time, and I’m not sure what is ‘wizard’ level. However, I’m determined to help contribute to the TopStyle tips blog so that others can develop quality, standards compliant sites. If readers can use the tips we have to provide (I’ve already learned from the other ‘pros’ articles) I’m excited. TopStyle is a great application and I have been using it for over a year now with great delight.

Blogger

Blogger has relaunched with a whole new site. I recommend that if you’ve been looking at this site thinking, “I can’t make a web site of my own,” that you check out blogger and give it a try. You’ll create an account and a URL and then be able to have your own website to blog the latest news in your life on. The best part is that it will be standards compliant and user friendly, secondly it’s free.

Mostly Longer Posts

I realize that lately, since starting to use WordPress I’ve created shorter posts more often. This generally defeats the purpose of why I put this site together. I wanted it to be a way for those far from us to get to know what’s happening in our lives on a regular basis. Therefore I’m going to try to write longer, more detailed posts regarding the events of our lives.

This weekend I put up more pictures of Abby in the new photoblog (link to said photoblog will remain on the menu of this site until further notice). Abby and I went out ‘rabbit hunting’ several times. Which means that we went to look for live rabbits to view, not shoot at. I don’t think shooting rabbits in front of a business building next to an apartment complex would do us very good.

I grilled the best steaks I’ve ever grilled for Mothers Day lunch and we’ll probably eat the second steak for lunch today (or I hope so, because yesterday’s were really good). We took a long walk with our friends the White’s after dinner and we enjoyed the ‘Highline Canal.’ Much more than we’d enjoy a root canal.

Happy Mother’s Day!

If you’re a mom, and I know you are, Happy Mothers day to you. If you’re doubting whether you’re a mother remember Necesity.

Necessity is the mother of all invention.

Trouble For Me

My brother Ed is getting stronger and stronger now that he works as a prison guard (I’m sure he has a technical title that is more official sounding, but frankly, I don’t know what it is). The following picture shows off his muscles.
Ed's Muscles
Jessica brought me into the other room to show me the muscles in that picture and say, “You’re brother’s muscles look toned [or something to that effect].”

That inspired me enough to go work out 6 days in a row now. And I’m going to keep going. There will be no excuses (besides death and sickness) for not going to the gym. I will become ripped by June 19th when Ed and I are ushers at my sister’s wedding. There may be pain involved, and the last 6 days have had soreness, but I will win!
